Laundry Room Slatwall
In your laundry room, hang your brooms and mops on the slatwall instead of placing them on the ground. Utilize baskets and shelves to store laundry soap, dryer sheets and more. Full Wall Coverage Slatwall
If you cover most of the wall like this, it will look awesome. Keep in mind, we will also want to cut out space for all the power outlets as well. You can use a power outlet and hang a light which would be really great for the extra light while working on a project. Above all, with full coverage of an area, it will bring the entire room together and show great continuity.

There’s even a cut out in the board for an outlet if you look closely. You’ll likely want to consider lighting options over the top and a great idea would also be a power strip which is added as well here. If you’re looking for best slatwall uses, this would definitely be one of them. This center area is great because it provides ample light and the ability to stay in one place and work.
Garage Slatwall: Center and side area
By now you’ve probably decided you want to go with a center slatwall area. After that, work with your designer to figure out exactly what you want around it. This design placed the garage cabinet doors below the slatwall with no center chair area. Their garage has a lip on the floor so you’ll want to keep that in mind if you have a similar garage floor to work with. They also designed a space for the power outlet in the center area.
